MANILA, Philippines — Two female tourists in El Nido, Palawan, will instead face formal complaints for presenting fake Covid-19 swab test results to the local government, the Department of Tourism (DOT) said Saturday.

TheDOT, in a statement, said police held the tourists at the Lio Airport on Feb. 16.
